Statement of Adherence to the Principles of Fair Trade

Here at Peace Love Bling, we strongly adhere to the Principles of Fair Trade, ethically hand crafted products by promising:

· Artists are paid a fair price in their local context

· Working conditions are safe and appropriate for the work performed. Artists are provided with all necessary tools, supplies and training.

· Partial to full advanced financing is provided if needed to fulfill production demands.

· We maintain long-term relationships with our artists based on mutual trust, transparency, equity, cultural and artistic appreciation.

· Our policies and practices focus on sustainability and respect for the environment

· We are committed to providing social and educational opportunities for our artists and employees as well as contributing to causes that empower women in our local communities.

What do we mean when we say that all of our products are “ethically hand-crafted?”

By committing to ethically hand-crafted products we are able to provide creative, dignified employment for women in the United States emerging from disadvantaged circumstances like homelessness and human trafficking.

We proudly partner with Amethyst Inc., a long-term treatment program based in our hometown of Columbus, Ohio.

Amethyst helps women break the bonds of human trafficking, homelessness and addiction in order to lead lives of self-sufficiency and economic independence.
